URGENTLY REQUIREDCOMMUNITY AFFAIRS OFFICER FOR NEW VENTURESROLE PROFILE:
1 Under the direction of Community Affairs Manager to develop and implement community outreach programs including social & community awareness
2. Create programs that promote the organization’s image in a positive and community-oriented way
3. Set up internal or external events, fairs and other community events to increase better understanding among stakeholders on new ventures agenda
4. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Community affairs team & help set up team priorities and schedules and Participates in the development and Implementation of community relations program, work methods and procedures. Recommends procedural changes to improve the team efficiency, including recommendations on work improvement as well as follow
5. Ensuring that all standard associated with community relations programs is met and procedures are followed.
6. Acts as resource person regarding the unit’s policies and procedures. Resolves complex problems within area of responsibility. Consults relevant documentation and liaises with appropriate resource persons to obtain and provide information on diverse and complex issues.
7. Updates, prepares and coordinates publication of documents such as publicity of brochures, socialization materials and activity reports. If required, prepare correspondence and other short documents of a complex nature.
8. Coordinates arrangements for large and complex events such as socialization
9. Maintains and updates administrative files. Maintains complex filing systems and arranges for archiving.
10. Support Community Affairs Manager in delivering performance measurement/review process for New Ventures
11. Performs other duties as required
SKILL/QUALIFICATIONS:
The person in this position will need to be capable of prioritizing competing demands for time, often multi-tasking. Additionally, this person needs to have a high level attention to detail, excellent proof-reading skills, a familiarity with event logistics, experience dealing with large mailings, the ability to work with and learn database systems and troubleshoot technical problems at a basic level. Specifically, the candidate should have the following requirements:
• Indonesian National and University graduate in any discipline -
• Experience in community/government/external affair works will be preferable
• Good communication skills and have a good potential leadership
• Have a systematic approach and good organization skills
• Strong performer with ability to work with different type of people and committed to help others
• English proficiency (active English), analytical and have strong attention to detail, follow through, ability to coordinate tasking work
• Self-motivated and ability to under pressure and tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
