Accountant for Office in Palangkaraya Yayasan Tambuhak Sinta (YTS) is an Indonesian Foundation based in  Central Kalimantan that is focused on improving the quality of  governance in areas in which natural resource-based and extractive  industries in forestry, palm oil and mining have a significant impact on  local and regional development. In Bulungan Regency, East Kalimantan,   YTS has a partnership with Jelai Cahaya Minerals and is seeking an  accountant for the office it shares in Palangkarya.

 Job Purpose:
Efficiently and effectively provide accurate  accounting and finance support while following confidentiality policies,  legislative standards, work processes and strict deadlines.
  
 Job Tasks:
• The role covers all finance functions, including  GL management, AP, Project Expenditure, invoicing, credit management,  audit file preparation, and monthly management reporting. Supervise the  general ledger group to ensure all expenditure is recorded accurately  and financial reporting deadlines are met. Coordinate accounting data  entry activities to produce financial records including weekly, monthly,  quarterly and yearly end close.
• Supplier Payments and Expenses:  Collate supplier invoices into weekly and monthly payment runs,  streamlining payment processes wherever possible. Ensure all supplier  bills are appropriately authorised for payment, and process payments  when authorised. Record supplier payments and office expenses in MYOB  accounting software, coding to appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile  company transaction with the Bank and assist with daily banking  requirements. Undertake monthly and quarterly bank reconciliation and  compliance activities. Reconcile all bank accounts on a fortnightly  basis. Reconcile all employee loan accounts on a quarterly basis.
•  Monthly financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities,  custody of data files, cheque books and accounting records. Produce  financial statements - Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and cashflow  reports. Assist with timely end of year audit. Make end-of-month  journals as required, prepare monthly financial statements.
•  Management Reporting: Provide strategic and operational reports to  management. Provide expenditure report fortnightly and monthly for  Project Managers. 
• Ensure financial accounting system MYOB  operates smoothly, data backups are performed regularly, systems trouble  shooting is timely, and systems protection is maintained against  unauthorised access. 
• Tax: Calculate and submit tax monthly, including: PPh 23/26, PPh 4(2), PPh 21, PPh 25/29, and PPN.
•  Processing of Payroll: Maintain confidential records for all employees,  including employment contracts, declarations and tax file numbers.  Process employee payslips, paying electronically into employee accounts.  Distribute pay advices to employees, using sealed envelopes. Track  employee leave accruals, absenteeism, medical leave and claims.  Reconcile and make monthly Income tax and Jamsostek payments. Reconcile  and prepare payment summaries at end of year. Process payroll in  Krishand software. Collect and manage timesheets to use in data entry  with assistance.

a. Bachelor Degree (S1) from reputable university
b. Max 35 years old, Have experience min 2years
