G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:
Role of this position is to involve in the setup, development and management of the Survey Crews. Accepts personal responsibility for the health, safety and environment ast of every worker under assigned to his supervisor.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
1. S1 Geodetic, fresh graduates to 2 years experience in surveying.
2. Able to operate as total station, GPS and other additional tool as per required of mining, exploration and civil industry.
3. Able to operate computer systems for collect, update and process all database as required under the industry standard (Mapinfo).
4. Able to provide Operational Map and Thematic Map (Geographic Information System).
5. Maintains survey tools (regular calibration) and regulate the availability of survey tools.
6. Maintains communication-relationships with other department, internal & local people
7. Good communication in English both oral and written.
8. Good Interpersonal & Managerial Skills.
Martabe Mine site camp has established facilities in the township of Batangtoru.
